House Rules
No Pets
Sorry due to our family member’s allergies, our home does not allow pets. Thank you for your understanding.
Non-Smoking
This is a Non-Smoking property. Thank you for not smoking.
Quiet Hours: 10pm-7am
While inside please be considerate of the neighbor next door (shared wall).
While outside in the backyard, rooftop deck, or balconies, please consider the local neighbors.
No Sand Inside
Please wash the sand off your body and feet before entering the home. There is a hose in the side yard just past the entry steps to rinse off along with an outdoor shower. Please do not rinse off the sand in the indoor showers or bathtubs.
Garbage Disposal
Please leave the "jam prevention" insert in the drain. This prevents spoons from falling in. Don't place big or hard items in the disposal. It'll jam it and cause problems.
Clean Up Any Food
Please help us keep the house clean to prevent any unwanted pests.
Please don't leave food on the counter overnight or on the floor.

Smart Home & HVAC Features
We have put together some commonly asked questions.
How can I make it cooler or warmer?
The Nest Thermostat is located in the 2nd Floor Hallway between the kitchen and half bathroom. Feel free to adjust. We kindly ask to turn off or turn down the HVAC if you plan to leave the property for an extended period of time.
It may go into "ECO" mode if it doesn't sense any movement in the house for a while. It may also coordinate with the utility company to pre-cool the house during peak energy usage periods.
How to turn off water in case of EMERGENCY?
The home has a Moen Flo Smart Water Valve. It is located in the crawl space, this device continuously monitors for unusual water activity.
For example, if a water line bursts, or if a tub spout/hose is accidentally left on, Flo will automatically turn the water OFF for the entire house.
IMPORTANT TIP: Keeping the House Cool
We found keeping the windows & doors closed, & keeping the thermostat set consistently throughout the day the best way to help keep the 3rd-floor cool (the 1st floor is the coldest).
The light switch AND the remote control control the master bedroom ceiling fan.
Fans can help make a room feel several degrees cooler.
Smart TVs:
We have smart TVs that offer Roku and Xfinity cable service
-The living room TV should be connected to the cable before the start of the summer (pending service technician).
Yale August Lock
The "Connect" module (small white square) is plugged into the 1st-floor hallway outlet.
Please do not unplug; this module enables the Wi-Fi connection to the door, so your code will work. If you unplug it or relocate the Connect out of range, your door code may stop working.
